Senior Paid Social Manager | Manchester or London | Hybrid | Up to £55,000 + Bonus

About Our Client

Our client is an award-winning, independent social-first agency built around influencer and paid social specialism. Recognised as one of the Best Places to Work, they're known for a genuinely close-knit, creative culture - think fast-paced, ambitious, and no room for corporate stuffiness. They work across a diverse portfolio of well-known consumer brands, blending brand-building with hard-working performance media.

This is a business on a real growth trajectory, with new client wins on the horizon and paid social budgets set to scale significantly over the next 12 months.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Paid Social Manager to take ownership of a high-profile, multi-brand client account - one with real complexity, real budget, and real scope to make an impact. You'll be the senior paid voice in the room, trusted to manage up, challenge internal stakeholders with confidence, and bring order and strategic clarity to a fast-scaling account.

This is not a purely technical or execution-led role. You'll have an exec supporting delivery — what the client needs is someone who can own the strategy, hold their nerve in tricky client conversations, and bring real commercial and analytical judgement to how budget is spent and measured.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the paid social strategy and client relationship for a large, multi-business-unit account
  • Act as the senior point of contact for client stakeholders - confident enough to challenge and reset expectations where needed
  • Oversee budget allocation across brand and performance activity, and guide the client through evolving attribution and measurement capability
  • Manage platform strategy across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and Reddit
  • Work closely with a freelance Account Manager and Exec to ensure smooth day-to-day delivery
  • Bring a point of view on brand vs. performance balance, and help the client scale spend responsibly as tracking infrastructure matures

What We're Looking For

  • 4–5 years' experience in paid social, ideally including senior client-facing account management
  • A confident, client-first operator - comfortable managing complex, sometimes politically sensitive client relationships
  • Strong strategic and analytical judgement around budget, attribution and channel mix (deep hands-on platform execution not required — you'll have support for that)
  • A genuine team player who thrives in a close, sociable, creative agency culture — this is a business that values personality and energy as much as expertise
  • D2C or multi-brand account experience is a plus, but not essential
