We are looking for a commercially driven growth marketing leader who thrives on using data, experimentation, and customer insight to drive profitable growth. You'll be equally comfortable setting strategy, rolling up your sleeves to optimise performance, and leading integrated digital marketing initiatives in a fast-moving E-commerce environment.
Based at our Brighton HQ and reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing, you'll lead our growth marketing strategy across performance marketing, organic social media, influencer marketing, and digital acquisition channels. Working cross-functionally, you’ll drive customer acquisition, build brand engagement, and grow our community, maximising return on marketing investment. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of digital growth at KILLSTAR while fostering a culture of high performance, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Performance Marketing Strategy: Own the strategy across Paid Social, Paid Search, SEO, Affiliates, and emerging acquisition channels, balancing short-term revenue targets with long-term customer growth.
- Marketing Performance: Be accountable for customer acquisition, ROAS, CAC, MER, Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), contribution, and overall channel performance, continually identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Campaign Execution & Optimisation: Manage, execute, and continuously optimise campaigns across Paid Social, Paid Search, Affiliates, and other acquisition channels, delivering regular insight and recommendations to improve commercial performance.
- Budget Ownership: Manage acquisition budgets across all paid channels, making commercial decisions based on performance data and return on investment.
- Organic Social Strategy & Channels: Working closely with the Social Media Executive to develop and deliver the organic social media strategy across all relevant platforms, defining each channel's purpose, audience, and content approach to build brand awareness, engagement, community, and commercial impact.
- Content Planning & Delivery: Oversee the social content planning process, maintaining an integrated content calendar that aligns with brand campaigns, commercial priorities, seasonal activity, and wider marketing objectives, ensuring consistent publishing across all channels.
- Content Performance & Optimisation: Oversee organic social performance, using platform insights and audience data to continually optimise, sharing actionable recommendations with stakeholders.
- Influencer Marketing: Working closely with the Influencer Outreach Assistant to develop and oversee the influencer marketing strategy, defining channel objectives, budgets, and KPIs to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and commercial growth.
- Integrate Influencer Activity: Ensure influencer marketing is fully integrated with paid social, organic social, and wider marketing campaigns, using performance insights to optimise investment and maximise commercial impact.
- Own Affiliate Growth: Launch and scale our affiliate programme, building relationships with leading publishers and continually optimising performance.
- Lead a Test & Learn Culture: Build a structured experimentation roadmap across creative, audiences, landing pages, bidding strategies, and channel mix, ensuring insights are documented and shared.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly communicate with internal teams to align on objectives, strategy opportunities, and overall marketing performance.
- Manage External Agencies: Providing clear strategic direction, overseeing performance against agreed KPIs, and ensuring campaign delivery.
- Lead Digital Integration: Work with other team leads to align SEO, Paid Search, and Paid Social strategies, ensuring cohesive digital marketing initiatives.
- Mentorship & Innovation: Mentor team members, foster a culture of continuous learning, and stay ahead of industry trends to ensure digital marketing innovation.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and analyse key digital marketing metrics across all channels, driving data-driven optimisations and refinements to achieve the best possible results.
- Leverage AI & Automation: Use AI tools to improve reporting, campaign optimisation, audience analysis, and workflow efficiency, continually identifying opportunities to work smarter.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
