The Role
As a Senior Paraplanner, you will provide high-quality technical and administrative support to Financial Advisers, managing complex cases and ensuring recommendations are thoroughly researched, technically accurate, and compliant.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Preparing detailed and compliant suitability reports.
- Supporting advisers with complex financial planning cases.
- Undertaking research across pensions, investments, retirement planning, protection, and tax planning.
- Carrying out pension and investment calculations.
- Preparing client meeting documentation and review packs.
- Supporting new business and implementation of advice.
- Conducting product, fund, and platform research.
- Liaising with advisers, clients, and providers where required.
- Ensuring all work meets regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
- Managing your own caseload and prioritising competing deadlines.
- Supporting junior members of the paraplanning team where required.

About You
The successful candidate will have strong technical Paraplanning experience and a solid understanding of holistic financial planning.

You Will Ideally Have
- Several years’ experience within a Paraplanning role.
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, and retirement planning.
- Excellent suitability report writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
- Relevant financial planning qualifications, ideally Diploma qualified or working towards Chartered status.
