About the Opportunity

Working as part of the team at an Appointed Representative of St. James’s Place Plc, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join a highly successful St. James’s Place Practice.

Working closely with the Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the ongoing growth and success of the business providing high-quality paraplanning support. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking to make a significant contribution to a growing and successful Practice.


The Role

Senior Paraplanner

Working closely with the Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of high-quality financial planning services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all aspects of the client advice journey, ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately, compliantly, and within agreed timescales.
  • Supporting a portfolio of clients with complex financial planning needs, providing exceptional service and building strong, long-term relationships.
  • Ensuring all advice meets regulatory requirements and the highest professional standards.
  • Working proactively with the Partner to ensure seamless delivery of advice and an outstanding client experience.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of operational systems and processes within the Practice.

The Person

This role would suit a confident, driven, and technically strong professional with excellent paraplanning experience.

  • A proactive “can-do” attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience within an IFA or Wealth Management environment, ideally an SJP Partner Practice.
  • Level 4 DipPFS qualified or Chartered.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Tax, Trusts, Investments, and Pensions.
  • Highly organized with excellent IT skills.
  • Confident dealing with clients and third parties.
  • Professional, discreet, and able to handle sensitive information with confidence.
