Senior Paraplanner
Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to take the next step in your career with a growing, forward-thinking financial planning firm?
We’re working with a highly respected Independent Financial Planning practice that prides itself on delivering outstanding advice and exceptional client service. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to appoint a Senior Paraplanner to join their collaborative and supportive team.
The Role
Working closely with Financial Advisers, you’ll provide high-quality technical support across a broad range of financial planning cases. You’ll be involved in the full paraplanning process, from research and analysis through to producing suitability reports, while helping to ensure excellent outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed suitability reports across pensions, investments, and protection.
- Conduct technical research and product analysis.
- Analyse client information and make recommendations to advisers.
- Prepare cashflow modelling and financial planning documentation.
- Liaise with advisers, providers, and internal teams to progress cases.
- Support complex financial planning cases including retirement, estate, and tax planning.
- Assist with mentoring junior team members where appropriate.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with FCA requirements and internal compliance standards.

About You
- Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an Independent Financial Planning firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection.
- Experience producing high-quality suitability reports.
- Working towards, or already holding, the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Chartered status desirable but not essential).
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with advisers and clients.
- Experience using systems such as Intelligent Office, Voyant, FE Analytics, or similar is advantageous.
