We are partnering with a highly respected, partner-owned investment management and wealth planning firm to recruit an experienced Paraplanner for their growing Wealth Planning team based in the City of London.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of Wealth Planning and a team of experienced Financial Planners, you'll provide high-quality technical support across a wide range of complex client cases.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing detailed suitability reports and financial planning recommendations
  • Conducting technical research across pensions, investments, tax planning and estate planning
  • Carrying out extensive cashflow modelling
  • Analysing client information to support bespoke financial planning strategies
  • Liaising with providers, clients and advisers to obtain technical information
  • Supporting advisers with complex client cases from recommendation through to implementation

About You

We're keen to speak with experienced Paraplanners who possess:

  • At least 4-5 years' paraplanning experience within financial planning or wealth management
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and wider financial planning
  • Experience producing high-quality suitability reports
  • Cashflow modelling experience (Voyant preferred)
  • Experience using industry research tools such as FE Analytics
  • Chartered Financial Planner status, or active progress towards Chartered, would be highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a genuine passion for technical financial planning.
