This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Partner Deployed Engineer based in the United Kingdom.
About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to shape how strategic technology partnerships adopt and scale innovative developer solutions across Europe.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor, combining expertise in cloud infrastructure, AI systems, and enterprise architecture with strong partner engagement skills.
Working at the intersection of engineering, strategy, and go-to-market execution, you will help partners unlock new opportunities and deliver impactful solutions.
You will collaborate with technical leaders, cloud providers, and enterprise stakeholders to create scalable adoption strategies and technical assets.
The role requires a unique blend of hands-on engineering ability, executive communication, and ecosystem-building mindset.
You will help define a new technical function while influencing product direction, partner success, and market expansion in a fast-growing environment.
Accountabilities
The Senior Partner Deployed Engineer will serve as a strategic technical leader within the partner ecosystem, helping organizations understand, implement, and scale advanced development infrastructure solutions. This role combines technical delivery, partner enablement, architecture guidance, and ecosystem development.
- Act as the primary technical advisor for strategic partners, including CTOs, solution architects, and technology leaders across the European ecosystem.
- Define how the platform fits into partner AI, cloud modernization, and enterprise transformation strategies.
- Develop technical go-to-market strategies, sales plays, and enablement materials tailored to partner needs and customer opportunities.
- Design and deliver technical workshops, demonstrations, labs, and enablement sessions that help partners independently position and deploy solutions.
- Support high-value partner-led opportunities through technical discovery, architecture reviews, proof-of-concept planning, and solution validation.
- Create reusable technical assets including reference architectures, deployment guides, operational documentation, and enablement resources.
- Build scalable training programs, certification materials, and self-service tools that expand partner capabilities.
- Gather market insights from partner engagements and share recommendations with product, engineering, and business teams.
- Contribute to technical content creation including blogs, presentations, workshops, and ecosystem resources.
- Support strategic integrations, cloud marketplace initiatives, and partner compliance requirements across European markets.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced technical professional who combines deep engineering expertise with strong customer-facing and partner-facing abilities. You should be comfortable designing complex cloud environments, explaining advanced concepts to executives, and building new processes in an evolving organization.
- 7+ years of experience in roles such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, Field CTO, Technical Consultant, or Developer Relations within infrastructure, developer tools, or AI-focused companies.
- Proven experience helping customers or partners adopt emerging technologies and create new solutions in undefined or evolving markets.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud infrastructure using AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- Production-level expertise with Kubernetes and Terraform, with the ability to discuss real-world implementation challenges.
- Experience deploying or operating AI coding agents or AI-enabled development systems in production or enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of AI infrastructure concepts, security requirements, governance models, and enterprise adoption patterns.
- Experience working with technology partners, hyperscalers, system integrators, or channel ecosystems in European markets.
- Ability to create scalable technical assets such as reference architectures, sales enablement materials, workshops, and technical documentation.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to engage both technical leaders and engineering teams.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to create technical documentation, strategic proposals, and thought leadership content.
- Highly autonomous mindset with the ability to build processes, tools, and programs from the ground up.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in forward-deployed engineering roles at platform, AI, or infrastructure companies.
- Background working with hyperscaler partner programs or enterprise co-sell models.
- Knowledge of European regulatory requirements such as GDPR, DORA, NIS2, AI Act, and cloud data sovereignty practices.
- Experience with regulated industries requiring secure or isolated deployments.
- Familiarity with AI governance, LLM infrastructure, enterprise security patterns, or human-in-the-loop AI workflows.
- Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS.
- Experience with networking technologies such as Tailscale or similar solutions.
- Open-source contributions in cloud-native, AI, or developer ecosystems.
- Additional European language skills such as German, French, or Nordic languages.
