Consulting Point is partnering with a fast-growing strategy and transactions advisory firm in the UK that is expanding its Private Equity practice. The firm is looking to hire an experienced Partner level candidate.
This team advises leading private equity funds and portfolio companies across the full investment lifecycle, including Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) and top-line and bottom-line Value Creation
The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-impact work to private equity investors while maintaining a sustainable consulting model, with a hybrid working structure (typically two days in office and three days remote) and limited client travel.
Key requirements
Private Equity consulting experience:
- Candidates should have a minimum of 10+ years’ experience within a leading strategy consultancy or specialist private equity advisory firm. Experience delivering CDDs/ODDs, and/or Top-line or Bottom-line value creation work for private equity portfolio companies is essential.
- Proven track record leading or supporting multiple private equity engagements
- Experience in at least one core sector such as Technology and Software, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Industrials, Consumer/Retail, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Media, Energy or B2B Professional Services.
- Ability to manage client relationships, lead project teams and contribute to business development activities. More senior candidates should demonstrate experience building client networks, originating work and supporting proposal development.
- Strong ability to structure complex strategic problems, conduct primary research, develop investment theses and translate insights into actionable recommendations for private equity investors and portfolio company leadership teams.
