Senior Partnership Accountant/Manager
I am currently partnering with one of my longstanding Law Firm clients to assist with the search for a Senior Partnership Accountant/Manager on a fixed term basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing partner accounting processes across multiple international offices.
- Calculating and processing partner payments and distributions.
- Preparing individual partner statements and financial information.
- Monitoring and maintaining partner capital accounts, including annual capital calls and capital repayments.
- Coordinating partnership loan arrangements and financing requirements.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning relating to partner remuneration.
- Preparing journals and performing reconciliations of partner accounts.
- Supporting partner onboarding and departure processes, including financial briefings.
- Working closely with senior finance leadership to ensure consistency of processes and controls.
- Assisting with partnership-related audit and accounting queries.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies, controls and existing processes.
- Providing support across the wider partnership finance function during peak periods.

- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant status (desirable but not essential).
- Significant experience within partnership accounting, partner finance or a similar specialist accounting role.
- Previous experience gained within a law firm, accountancy practice or professional services environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and controls.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with senior professionals.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
