Senior Partnership Accountant | Highly regarded UK Law Firm | London (EC4M) | up to £120k with hybrid working
An established and highly regarded UK law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Partnership Accountant to join its London Finance team. This is a senior role with responsibility for the financial management of the firm’s partnership and will involve regular interaction with partners, senior leadership and external advisers.
The Role
You will take ownership of partner remuneration, drawings, distributions, capital and current accounts, tax reserves and associated reporting, ensuring all processes are accurate and aligned with the LLP Agreement.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing monthly partner drawings and quarterly distributions.
- Supporting annual profit allocation and partner remuneration processes.
- Managing partner capital, current and tax reserve accounts.
- Forecasting partner distributions and associated tax payments.
- Coordinating partner tax payments and liaising with external tax advisers.
- Managing partner capital contributions, repayments and funding arrangements.
- Supporting partner onboarding, retirements and exits.
- Preparing partner reporting, audit schedules and financial analysis.
- Undertaking salaried member/disguised remuneration testing and supporting UK tax compliance.
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for partners on remuneration and financial matters.
- Supporting improvements to partnership accounting processes, systems and reporting.

About You

You will have strong partnership accounting experience, gained within a law firm environment, with a solid understanding of partner remuneration, capital and current accounts, UK tax fundamentals and LLP structures.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills are essential, alongside excellent attention to detail and the confidence and credibility to deal directly with partners and senior stakeholders.
Experience within a multi-entity or international environment and knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
