About The Role
This role leads the team responsible for driving strategic alignment between BT and its key Security, Voice, Hyperscaler and Global Systems Integrator (GSI) partners.
You will be responsible for shaping and executing partnership strategies that accelerate growth, strengthen market differentiation and support BT Business's strategic priorities. Working across sales, product, marketing, commercial and enablement functions, you will ensure BT maximises value from its partner ecosystem while delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
This is a highly visible leadership role that combines people leadership, strategic planning and commercial execution. The successful candidate will play a key role in determining where BT invests across its partnership portfolio and how strategic partner relationships are translated into customer value, pipeline growth and long-term commercial success.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead a team of Partner Managers responsible for driving growth across BT's Security, Voice, Hyperscaler and GSI partner ecosystem.
- Own BT Business's strategic relationships with Microsoft across Security, Voice, Licensing and Cloud, aligning partner priorities with BT's commercial objectives.
- Build and deliver partnership strategies and joint go-to-market plans that accelerate revenue growth, customer value and market differentiation.
- Lead governance and performance management with key partners including Microsoft, RingCentral, Genesys, Security vendors, Hyperscalers and GSIs through QBRs, trading reviews and executive engagement.
- Work with sales, product, marketing and enablement teams to turn partner strategies into measurable pipeline, revenue and customer outcomes.
- Identify and develop new growth opportunities, proposition innovations and market initiatives across the partner portfolio.
- Influence investment decisions, helping BT prioritise the partnerships, programmes and opportunities that will deliver the greatest commercial impact.
- Coach and develop a high-performing team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Essential Skills / Experience
- Proven experience leading strategic technology partnerships across Security, Cloud, Voice, Hyperscaler or GSI ecosystems, with accountability for commercial outcomes and partner performance.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing partnership and go-to-market strategies that have delivered measurable revenue growth, pipeline creation and business transformation.
- Strong executive stakeholder management experience, including influencing senior leaders internally and building trusted relationships with strategic vendors, Hyperscalers or Global Systems Integrators.
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Experience working with Hyperscalers such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience managing strategic relationships with Security vendors such as Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, CrowdStrike or similar.
- Experience working within Voice, UCaaS or CCaaS ecosystems, including Microsoft, RingCentral, Genesys or Cisco.
- Experience working with Global Systems Integrators and large-scale enterprise partnership programmes.
- Strong understanding of the UK telecoms, cloud and cyber security markets.
- Experience building and leading cross-functional go-to-market initiatives involving sales, product, marketing and partner organisations.
