Powering Great Work

We started as the place to find a trusted trade. Now, as we shape the future of home improvement, we're building the tech to transform that landscape for everyone - better products, smarter data, AI where it actually helps - so trades can spend less time on admin and consumers can find someone they trust, first time. That's Powering Great Work, and it's why every team here exists:

  • 🔧 Trades spend less time on admin and more on winning work and growing their business
  • 🏠 Homeowners get a trusted trade, first time, every time
  • 🚀 We get to build products that change homes and lives across the country

You'll be the person who chases down the deals that help Checkatrade grow. That means landing new partnerships and finding more value in the ones we already have, so our partners and the tradespeople on Checkatrade get something real out of the ecosystem. It's the commercial side of Powering Great Work.

The job, unfiltered:

  • Own and grow commercial partnerships that deliver real value to our trade members.
  • Build a pipeline of new partnerships, from first conversation to signed deal. You'll be chasing £100k+ opportunities, so you'll need to be comfortable with that.
  • Shape our partnerships strategy across social, media, and digital channels.
  • Drive advertising and sponsorship revenue across the Checkatrade Awards, Magazine, and Games.
  • Work with the marketing, product, and social teams to bring partnerships to life.
  • Bring a product mindset to how partner offers show up across our platforms.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
