Description

Hybrid: 2 days per week in our Tower Bridge office (Wednesdays & Thursdays)

money.co.uk exists to help consumers make more informed financial decisions. Our free, online comparison service allows consumers to compare financial products, from credit cards to savings accounts, loans to travel money. We want our users to feel reassured that we're on their side when it comes to their finances.

We’re part of RVU, a group of online brands that include: Confused, Uswitch, Tempcover, and Mojo Mortgages.

We are known as the Financial Services team for Uswitch, Confused and money.co.uk, and our goal is to be the UK’s favourite way to choose the best financial products for big life events - from credit cards to use while travelling, to savings accounts to help move you closer to a dream purchase. As we continue to grow and expand our services, we are looking for talented individuals who share our passion for making a positive impact on people's lives. If you want to be part of a team that is transforming the way consumers navigate their finances, we would love to hear from you.

We are on a mission to empower millions of UK small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to find the right financial products to scale their businesses. As the Senior Partnership Manager for SME Financial Services, you will own, optimise, and expand our commercial B2B partner panel across key channels like Business Loans, Asset Finance, Business Bank Accounts, Card Acquiring, and SME Insurance.

You will lead high-stakes commercial negotiations with high-street banks, challenger platforms, and alternative B2B fintech lenders. By blending your relationship management prowess with deep data analysis and leverage of AI tools, you will ensure our SME marketplace journeys remain highly competitive, fully compliant, and commercially lucrative.

What you'll be doing

Panel Management & Strategic Growth

  • Own the SME Panel: Act as the senior commercial lead for RVU's B2B financial provider portfolio, maintaining high-level relationships with banks, commercial lenders, and fintech innovators.
  • Onboard High-Value Partners: Proactively identify and close target lenders and service providers to fill product gaps, increasing the depth and conversion of our SME comparison funnels.
  • QBR Leadership: Run structured Quarterly Business Reviews with senior stakeholder partners to align on credit appetite, volume expectations, and mutual growth strategies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Commercial Negotiation & Monetisation

  • Optimise Commercial Models: Lead complex negotiations to restructure and maximise partner contracts, shifting or improving hybrid, Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), or cost-per-lead (CPL) models.
  • Unlock New B2B Revenue: Secure exclusive products, unique commercial terms, and deeper integration from top-tier SME lenders.

Cross-Functional Execution & Compliance

  • Product Collaboration: Partner with internal UX, Product, and Engineering teams to improve digital application journeys, eligibility matching engines, and API integrations with B2B lenders.
  • FCA & Consumer Duty Ownership: Maintain flawless alignment with RVU’s Compliance team to ensure all SME product paths, partner criteria, and landing pages strictly comply with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) guidelines.
  • Data-Led Insights: Work alongside analysts to leverage tools like Looker/Tableau. Translate consumer demand patterns and rejection data back to lenders to influence their underwriting criteria.

What we're looking for

  • B2B Financial Landscape Expertise: 5+ years of digital commercial account management, partnership, or channel experience—specifically operating within UK SME financial services (e.g., commercial lending, asset finance, business banking, or card acquiring).
  • Marketplace or Aggregator Experience: A strong background working within a digital marketplace, price comparison website (PCW), affiliate network, or a high-growth B2B fintech platform.
  • Commercial Drive: A proven track record of growing a multi-million-pound B2B partner portfolio and managing high-stakes contract renewals.
  • Regulatory Rigour: Understanding of FCA compliance, treating customers fairly (TCF), and how Consumer Duty applies to commercial business customers.
  • Analytical Capability: Comfortable drilling down into conversion rates, margin analyses, and click-through rates (CTR) to build data-driven arguments for partner negotiations.
