About Goalhanger
Goalhanger is one of the UK’s most exciting independent media companies, the team behind some of the world’s most successful shows, including The Rest Is Politics, The Rest Is History, The Rest Is Football, The Rest Is Entertainment, and a fast-growing slate. We’re a creative, fast-moving organisation with big ambitions and a brilliant team that makes them happen.
This role is based full time (5 days a week) in our office in Oval.
£55,000 - £85000 OTE
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Partnerships Manager to grow Goalhanger’s agency revenue by developing strategic relationships with leading media agencies and agency groups. You will own and grow key agency relationships, acting as a senior commercial partner to agencies such as WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, Dentsu and Havas. You will influence planning and investment decisions, improve the volume of inbound briefs and pitch for business. This is a senior commercial role for someone who understands the agency ecosystem and has the experience to build long-term partnerships. You will also play an important role in developing the wider Partnerships team, sharing agency knowledge, mentoring colleagues and contributing to a high-performing commercial culture. This person doesn’t necessarily have a sales background and we are open to applications from those on the media buying side.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
