About Goalhanger

This role is based full time (5 days a week) in our office in Oval.

£55,000 - £85,000 OTE

The Role

Goalhanger has a growing track record of building partnerships directly with clients, including Fuse Energy, Hotel Chocolat and Wise. This role will focus on developing new client-direct relationships, working with ambitious CMOs and brands to grow their business through Goalhanger’s slate of shows. As Senior Partnerships Manager, you’ll lead new business across our client-direct portfolio, taking partnerships from initial outreach through to close. You’ll own your pipeline, deliver against ambitious revenue targets and create campaigns across podcast, video, social and branded content. You’ll bring commercial creativity to build partnerships that deliver real value for clients and audiences, while mentoring more junior members of the team.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead new business growth across Goalhanger’s brand partnership offering.
  • Deliver against ambitious individual revenue targets and contribute to wider commercial growth.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of high-value client direct opportunities both through inbound leads & proactive outreach.
  • Develop senior relationships with brand and marketing decision-makers.
  • Lead complex pitches, proposals, negotiations and partnership development.
  • Create innovative campaigns including sponsorships, branded content, talent integrations and multi-platform activations.
  • Ensure partnerships align with Goalhanger’s editorial values and audience expectations.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and revenue reporting.
  • Mentor and support other members of the Partnerships team, sharing knowledge and best practice.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in media sales, partnerships, sponsorships or business development.
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and closing high-value partnerships.
  • Strong new business capability with experience creating opportunities independently.
  • Excellent commercial judgement and strategic thinking.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Experience developing creative partnership proposals.
  • Ability to mentor and support colleagues.
  • Genuine passion for podcasts, storytelling and premium editorial content.
