Department: Finance

Reporting to: Payroll Manager

We are looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our Finance Team! This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys owning processes, driving accuracy, and making a real impact behind the scenes.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you'll take responsibility for the end-to-end payroll process for both the UK and Republic of Ireland, ensuring payroll is delivered accurately, compliantly and on time. You'll work closely with colleagues across Payroll, People and the wider business to provide an excellent payroll service while continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and systems.

A peek into your daily adventures:

  • Managing the full end-to-end monthly payroll process for the UK and Republic of Ireland
  • Producing payroll reports and supporting reporting improvements
  • Conducting payroll audits and accuracy checks to ensure compliance and minimise errors
  • Resolving payroll-related queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Supporting monthly and annual payroll compliance activities
  • Assisting with payroll process improvements and system enhancements
  • Administering company pension schemes, including auto-enrolment responsibilities
  • Uploading monthly pension schedules and managing associated administration
  • Processing payroll changes including starters, leavers, contractual changes, maternity leave, long-term sickness and termination payments
  • Supporting the administration of our salary streaming platform, Stream
  • Assisting with year-end payroll activities, including P45s and P60s
  • Supporting payroll system implementations and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills that make you shine:

  • Proven experience managing payroll administration in a high-volume environment
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements
  • Experience processing ROI payroll would be highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of pension administration and auto-enrolment regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities
  • Experience supporting payroll system changes or implementations would be highly desirable
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
