Job Title: Senior Payroll Administrator
Location: Stockport
Office Based: Yes
Hours: 9-5:30
Type: Permanent
Salary: £29,000-£34,500
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading the processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls across a variety of clients and contractor payrolls.
- Supporting the team with data input, payroll calculations, and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Helping to resolve payroll queries from employees and clients, escalating more complex issues as needed.
- Learning how to stay compliant with payroll legislation including PAYE, NI, RTI, and pension contributions.
- Working closely with the wider team to help provide training and development opportunities for them.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience managing client and contractor payrolls across weekly, fortnightly and monthly deadlines.
- Confidence using Excel and good general IT skills.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to handle confidential information with care.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in developing your career in payroll further.
- Experience supporting more junior members of a payroll team daily.
- Bonus if you’re studying towards or interested in pursuing a CIPP qualification in the future.
