Senior Payroll Analyst
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Payroll Analyst, responsible for UK & Ireland payroll processing, ensuring compliance with country and local regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of payroll systems and processes. The Senior Payroll Analyst will support team members in organizing their tasks to deliver timely payroll and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery. The Senior Payroll Analyst will participate in local and global projects, implementing requested changes in payroll processes and time processes.
The successful candidate will be based from our state-of-the-art Head Office in Leicester, Grove Park (LE1 9SX) 4 days a week, with 1 day working from home.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Payroll Processing: Oversee the preparation, processing, and distribution of monthly payroll for all UK & Ireland employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies, and country and government regulations.
- Compliance: Ensure payroll practices comply with country and local regulations, including tax reporting, wage and hour laws, and record-keeping requirements.
- Global Mobility & Executive Compensation: Maintain the expat & modified Payroll in UK & Ireland for employees on Hypo tax status ensuring taxation calculations are accurate and fed to stakeholders on time. Deliver executive compensation tasks, including RSU tax estimation, tax calculations, and communication with employees.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate daily activities of UK/Ireland team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development. Provide input for performance reviews and appraisals.
- Reporting & Audits: Prepare and review payroll reports, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and leave balances. Lead payroll-related audits and work with internal and external auditors as needed. Producing Payroll journals for Ireland & UK – working with the individual finance teams to answer balancing queries.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Digital HCM, Finance, and other departments to coordinate payroll-related activities, such as benefits, bonuses, and year-end reporting. Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding payroll matters. Ensure all Stakeholders relationships are strong, holding quarterly presentations to align all entities needs. Manages relationships with Payroll Vendors, and follows up on Vendor performance.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve payroll processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee satisfaction. Implement best practices and stay updated on industry trends and changes in payroll laws. Participates in the development and execution of the Payroll key objectives and SLAs.

Who You Are:
- You will be a highly meticulous, numerically minded Payroll Analyst, with experience of supporting the UK and Ireland with payroll activities. You will have high attention to detail and excellent stakeholder management skills. You will be comfortable with working under pressure, whilst maintaining accuracy, with a strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to your work.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Strong understanding of UK and Ireland payroll legislation and statutory obligations.
- Experience with payroll systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, ADP, or local in-country platforms).
- High proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations).
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- High sense of confidentiality and data protection awareness
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Prior experience working with external payroll providers is advantageous.
