Payroll Senior Associate – Top 40 Firm – London

As a Payroll Senior Associate, you will:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, handling high-end, high-volume payroll processes on varying cycles within a dynamic department.
- Perform complex manual calculations and standard deductions while ensuring full compliance with UK Payroll Legislation and Auto-Enrolment regulations.
- Provide comprehensive, expert advice to clients in relation to intricate payroll queries and maintain strong relationships with third-party providers and HMRC.
- Ensure all necessary payments, including employee salaries and pension contributions, are executed strictly within set deadlines, handling all pensions and HMRC submissions.
- Share knowledge and experience with junior team members, providing hands-on training and mentorship when required.

As the successful candidate you will:
- Possess a minimum of 3 to 4 years of solid payroll bureau experience.
- Demonstrate full end-to-end payroll experience, including manual calculations, standard deductions, and Auto-Enrolment pensions proficiency.
- Have strong competence in Excel and deep familiarity with UK Payroll Legislation.
- Display strong interpersonal skills for effective client and internal stakeholder communication, alongside proven experience maintaining client relationships and liaising with HMRC.
