Hays are excited to be supporting a globally recognised accounting firm in the search for a senior Payroll specialist. This role will be based in their Manchester office 3 days per week. This is a unique opportunity to join a business undergoing significant growth and transformation, with payroll positioned as a critical function within the wider people and business strategy.

As a senior payroll specialist, you will support clients in processing complex payroll while ensuring best-in-class service delivery for their large portfolio of clients.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders and a wider payroll team, you will ensure payroll deadlines, ensure payroll accuracy and support with any queries from the client.
What you'll need to succeed
Acting as the senior payroll expert within a large team.
- Experience with processing end-to-end UK payroll, within a large bureau/ accountancy firm or shared service environment,
- Support clients with queries and deliver operational excellence.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders, payroll vendors, and external partners.
- Ensure payroll is processed timely and accurately
