Job Title: Payroll Senior
Our client is a leading professional services firm with an established presence across the UK and Ireland. They are looking for an experienced Payroll Senior to manage a portfolio of clients, support junior team members and help deliver an accurate, reliable payroll service.

About You
- Previous experience in a payroll role
- Experience using payroll software
- Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, pensions and statutory payments
- Good knowledge of payroll legislation and auto-enrolment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues is desirable
- Relevant payroll qualification or working towards one is advantageous

About Your New Role
You will manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance and excellent client service while supporting the wider payroll team.
Always
- Ensure payrolls are processed accurately and in line with current legislation.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and key stakeholders.

- Manage client payrolls, pensions and auto-enrolment requirements.
- Handle queries from clients, HMRC and third-party providers.
- Review and peer-check payrolls completed by colleagues.
- Support junior team members with technical queries and guidance.
- Maintain payroll records and identify opportunities to improve processes.
Occasionally
- Deliver team training on payroll legislation and systems.
- Produce ad hoc payroll and operational reports.
- Support additional projects and wider team requirements.
