About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Senior Penetration Tester to join a high-performing Offensive Security team. You will lead the delivery of complex penetration testing engagements for organisations ranging from innovative technology businesses to large enterprise and public sector clients.
You will identify real-world security risks, deliver rigorous technical assessments and provide clear, commercially relevant advice that helps customers strengthen their security posture.
This position suits someone who enjoys solving challenging technical problems, engaging directly with senior stakeholders and helping to develop other consultants. If colleagues turn to you for technical guidance and you value technical excellence, continuous learning and innovation, this could be an excellent next step.
What you'll be doing
- Lead complex infrastructure, web application, API, cloud and internal penetration testing engagements.
- Conduct advanced security assessments and adversary simulation across complex customer environments.
- Identify, exploit and clearly articulate security weaknesses, attack paths and potential business impact.
- Own engagement planning, technical delivery, customer communication and final reporting.
- Produce high-quality technical reports containing detailed evidence and pragmatic remediation guidance.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical teams, senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Provide strategic security advice throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Mentor less experienced consultants and help raise technical capability across the team.
- Contribute to methodologies, research, tooling and the development of new service offerings.
- Support peer review and quality assurance to maintain consistently high delivery standards.
- Stay current with emerging attack techniques, vulnerabilities and offensive security trends.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
