Main purpose of the role

To contribute to the goals of the department in the doing, allocating and checking of other administrators' work and delivering pensions administration in an accurate and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a service that is considered to be "First Class" by clients and in accordance with agreed measures and timescales.
• Allocate and check Pensions Associates work for accuracy and ensure deadlines are met.
• Process all aspects of membership administration. Provide members with benefit quotations as requested, accurately and to agreed deadlines.
• Knowledge of policies and process of ISO 27001 and where they can be accessed and followed.
• Has awareness of the ISO22301 standard and our business continuity management system.
• Read and understood key policies in the BCMS and understands what to do in the event of an incident.
• Ensure accuracy of written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of DB and DC administration, including practical experience of benefit calculations, contracting-out and the Pension Freedoms.
• Production of stewardship reports within the required timescales.
• Ensure processes and documentation are kept up to date. Challenge procedures to identify process improvements and efficiencies.
• Undertake periodical and ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
• Participation in new business exercises, representing the Company to external prospects and clients as required.
