About the role

Job role: Senior People and Talent Manager

Location: Office based at 12 Dorset Street (5 days a week)

Reporting to: Director of Human Resources

About Us

Dominus is a leading real estate investor, developer, owner and operator specialising in hotels and student living across central London and in key UK cities. Founded in 2011, we have built a £3 billion asset pipeline through investing our own equity and co-investing alongside institutional joint venture partners.

As a fully integrated business, we create value across the entire project lifecycle. Our teams span investment, planning, development, finance, legal and asset management. Our portfolio of hotels is managed by Dominus Hospitality, our dedicated operating platform, and operates under Hilton and Marriott brands.

The role is based in our London head office, a team of 60, with a further 380 colleagues working across our hotel portfolio.

The Role

We are seeking a tenacious, self-starting Senior People and Talent Manager to lead recruitment function and own the full people function across Dominus head office.

This is a hands-on, build-from-the-front mandate. You will own and run the full recruitment lifecycle and you will set the systems, standards and employer brand that allow us to hire ahead of an ambitious growth curve. Alongside recruitment, you will own the broader people function — managing the employee lifecycle, HR operations, and people initiatives to help our team succeed.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial platform, takes ownership without being asked, and is excited by the prospect of building a talent function in a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Develop recruitment strategy for head office, own end-to-end recruitment across all functions of the business, from briefing through to offer, acceptance, and onboarding, working with our outsourced HR partner.
  • Partner closely with the senior leadership team to translate growth plans into clear, prioritised hiring roadmaps.
  • Lead direct sourcing through your own networks, LinkedIn, and proactive headhunting, reducing reliance on external agencies.
  • Manage and optimise the relationship with search firms where specialist or confidential mandates require it, holding them to cost, quality, and timeline.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for asset management, development, commercial, and operational roles.
  • Write compelling job descriptions and adverts, and run a sharp, well-organised hiring process that reflects the Dominus brand at every touchpoint.
  • Implement and run the tools and systems that support hiring at pace, including applicant tracking, reporting, and pipeline metrics.
  • Advise on offer structuring, market benchmarking, and competitive positioning to win the best people.
  • Support onboarding and early-stage integration for new joiners.
  • Develop the Dominus employer brand to attract high-calibre talent to a growing platform.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
