What will you be doing?

This is a strategic and influential leadership role where you’ll operate at the heart of the business:

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team of People Business Partners, setting the standard for excellence
  • Shape and deliver the People strategy, driving real alignment with ambitious business goals
  • Partner with senior leaders, acting as a trusted adviser to influence, challenge and elevate decision-making
  • Design the future organisation—leading workforce planning, succession, talent and organisational design
  • Drive a thriving culture, championing engagement, inclusion, wellbeing and performance
  • Lead change and transformation, embedding new ways of working across a complex, evolving business
  • Develop exceptional leaders, enabling high-performing, inclusive teams to flourish
  • Use insight and data intelligently to influence strategy, identify risk and unlock opportunity
  • Own critical people lifecycle activity, from mobilisation and work winning to transformation programmes
  • Collaborate across Centres of Excellence, delivering impactful, business-critical initiatives
  • Step up as a senior leader, deputising for the People Director as required

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who combines strategic thinking, commercial sharpness and authentic leadership:

  • A proven track record in a senior People/HR leadership role, within a complex environment
  • Deep, credible technical HR expertise, with the ability to translate this into business impact
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to align people strategy with performance outcomes
  • Exceptional stakeholder influence skills, with credibility at executive level
  • The confidence to challenge, coach and inspire leaders
  • A highly agile, resilient mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity and competing priorities
