About the role
We're looking for an experienced Senior People Business Partner to join our business on a 12-month fixed-term contract during a significant period of operational focus and change. Offering a salary of £65,000-£70,000, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a fast-paced, dynamic 3PL logistics environment, partnering with senior leaders to shape and deliver a people agenda that directly supports business performance.
Supporting senior stakeholders across a complex logistics operation, you'll play a critical role in driving organisational effectiveness through strategic people planning, commercial decision-making and trusted business partnering. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence key business decisions and lead on initiatives that will have a lasting impact.

Operating within a dynamic 3PL environment means priorities can shift quickly, and the ability to balance multiple competing demands is essential. You'll be equally comfortable leading strategic workforce initiatives as you are rolling your sleeves up to deal with complex operational challenges, organisational change, consultations, restructures and day-to-day leadership support.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with senior operational leaders to develop and deliver people strategies that drive business performance, engagement and organisational effectiveness.
- Lead organisational change initiatives including restructures, organisational design reviews, TUPE transfers, consultations and redundancy programmes, ensuring compliance and a positive colleague experience.
- Influence and challenge senior stakeholders to make effective people decisions that align with both business objectives and company values.
- Lead and support cross-functional projects that enhance employee experience, improve engagement and strengthen organisational capability.
- Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, balancing commercial outcomes with colleague engagement and risk management.
- Build strong relationships across multiple sites and functions, ensuring a consistent and effective people approach across the operation.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly, balancing multiple projects and stakeholder demands simultaneously.
What we need from you
- Proven experience developing and delivering strategic People Plans that align with business objectives and drive organisational performance.
- Strong track record of leading complex organisational change, transformation and organisational design initiatives within fast-paced environments.
- Extensive experience managing employee relations programmes, including TUPE transfers, restructures, consultations and redundancy processes, ensuring both compliance and a positive colleague experience.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility, challenge constructively and partner effectively with senior leaders across the business.
- Previous experience operating within logistics, transport, manufacturing or other operationally-focused, multi-site environments.
- Confident navigating ambiguity and complexity, balancing strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to delivery.
