Are you an organised People Coordinator looking for a role where you can take ownership of your work?

We're working with an exciting music start-up that is looking to add a People Coordinator to its growing team.

With a small, international workforce and a supportive HR Lead, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a close-knit environment where no two days are quite the same. This role will sit at the heart of the day-to-day People function, supporting across the full employee lifecycle. You'll be the go-to person for People administration, helping with everything from onboarding and offboarding to HR systems, benefits, payroll coordination, and maintaining accurate employee records. Payroll experience is essential.

You'll also have the opportunity to get involved in a range of wider People projects. The business is currently reviewing and refreshing a number of its policies and processes, including its employee handbook and benefits offering, so there is plenty of scope to get involved in projects beyond the usual administration.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The team is currently going through a period of change, so this role would suit someone who is confident in their own abilities, comfortable working with autonomy with an agile approach to their day-to-day. You'll have a People Lead to report into, but will need to be someone who can confidently take ownership of your remit and keep things moving.

We're looking for someone with at least two years' experience in an HR coordination role, ideally within a start-up or SME environment. You'll have experience supporting across the employee lifecycle, be confident coordinating payroll information, and have strong attention to detail. Experience with HR systems such as HiBob would be ideal, as would strong Excel skills. Most importantly, you'll be organised, proactive, and comfortable working with a range of stakeholders. An interest in music or the wider entertainment industry would be a definite bonus.
