Senior People Operations Specialist
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Bonus + Equity + Benefits
About the Opportunity
We're partnering with a fast-growing international technology business that is building its People function from the ground up. As the organisation continues to scale across multiple countries, we're looking for an experienced Senior People Operations Specialist to help deliver a seamless employee experience while building robust, scalable people processes.
This is a hands-on role reporting to the Head of People Operations, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the full employee lifecycle across an international workforce. You'll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, maintaining compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and driving continuous improvement as the business grows.

The Role
As Senior People Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for delivering best-in-class People Operations across every stage of the employee journey while helping to build the foundations of a scalable global People function.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle across multiple countries, including offers, contracts, onboarding, promotions, employee changes, leave management and offboarding.
- Prepare employment contracts, amendments, offer documentation and termination paperwork.
- Coordinate right-to-work checks, immigration processes and visa administration where required.
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on People policies, processes and employment matters.

Global Compliance
- Ensure People Operations remain compliant with employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinate Employer of Record (EOR) and Professional Employer Organisation (PEO) relationships.
- Support immigration compliance, right-to-work requirements and employment record management.
- Ensure employee data is managed in line with UK GDPR and international data privacy regulations.
HR Systems & Reporting
- Administer the HRIS, ensuring employee records remain accurate and up to date.
- Manage data across HR systems, recruitment platforms, payroll providers and other People tools.
- Produce regular reporting on headcount, turnover, diversity, absence and workforce metrics.
- Support automation, system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to simplify and automate People Operations processes.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation.
- Proactively identify operational risks and implement scalable solutions.
- Help build efficient, repeatable processes capable of supporting continued international growth.

- Strong compliance across all operating jurisdictions.

About You
You'll be an experienced People Operations professional who enjoys improving processes, solving problems and supporting a growing international workforce.
You'll ideally have:
- Significant experience in People Operations or HR Operations.
- Experience working within a high-growth or scaling business.
- Multi-country HR Operations experience, ideally across Europe and North America.
- Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle management and HR best practice.
- Good understanding of UK employment law, right-to-work requirements and employment compliance.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms (Deel experience would be advantageous).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- High levels of discretion when handling confidential information.
- The ability to prioritise effectively and work independently in a fast-moving environment.
