Senior People Partner (Health South)

12-Month Internal Secondment

Competitive salary with bonus, private medical insurance, car/car allowance and pension up to 6%

Location: South England covering the following hospitals

  • Southampton University Hospital
  • Harplands Hospital
  • Great Western Hospital
  • Norfolk & Norwich Hospital
  • Darent Valley Hospital
  • University Hospital South Buckinghamshire

We are seeking an ambitious and highly capable Senior People Partner to join our Health Business Unit on a 12-month secondment, supporting contracts across the South.

This is an outstanding development opportunity for an experienced People Partner looking to broaden their strategic impact, deepen commercial understanding and work directly with senior operational leaders on some of our most important people priorities.

As part of the Health leadership team, you'll help build organisational capability, strengthen leadership, deliver workforce productivity improvements and ensure we have the talent needed to meet future business demands.

What you'll be doing

  • Acting as a strategic People & Culture partner to operational leaders across South Health contracts.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of workforce productivity and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Driving talent reviews, succession planning and development activity to build future capability.
  • Helping leaders embed the People & Culture operating model and improve self-sufficiency in people management.
  • Working across specialist People & Culture teams to deliver integrated solutions that address business challenges.
  • Supporting employee and industrial relations activity, ensuring a proactive and commercially balanced approach.
  • Using people data, insight and analytics to identify trends and drive targeted interventions.
  • Leading or supporting transformation, change and organisational development initiatives.

What we're looking for

  • Proven Senior People Partner experience with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations and organisational capability building.
  • Experience supporting talent, leadership and succession discussions.
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work across multiple stakeholders and specialist teams.
  • Commercial awareness and a strong focus on delivering business outcomes through people.
  • Ambition to develop strategic partnering capability and operate at a senior level.

What you'll gain
