You’ll lead organisational design and effectiveness activity, ensuring structures, capabilities and ways of working support both current performance and future business requirements.

You’ll also provide people leadership through business transformation and change, constructively challenging leaders and helping embed sustainable improvements.

You’ll work with leaders to identify, develop and retain talent, strengthen succession pipelines and create opportunities for career development and internal mobility.

You’ll help embed meaningful performance conversations and ensure leaders are equipped to get the best from their people.

You’ll use workforce and business data to identify emerging risks and opportunities, developing strategic workforce plans and measuring their impact. Alongside this, you’ll help shape engagement and culture plans, supporting the development of an inclusive, accountable and high-performing organisation.

About You

You’re an experienced Senior People Partner or HR professional with a strong commercial mindset and significant experience partnering senior leaders within a large, complex organisation.

You’ll bring strong capability across organisational design, talent and succession, workforce planning and organisational change, alongside the confidence to coach, influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.

You’re comfortable using data and insight to inform decisions and can connect people priorities directly to business performance.

CIPD qualified or equivalent, you’ll combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.

You’re curious, collaborative and accountable, with the judgement to prioritise what matters and the confidence to challenge established thinking when there is a better way forward.

A full UK driving licence is required, with regular UK travel and occasional overnight stays.

The products we’ll all need tomorrow depend on us making the most of today’s end-of-life metals, plastics and other materials.

Take a car at the end of its life - most people just see a…car at the end of its life.

We see steel, aluminium, copper, plastics, rubber, glass, parts, fluids, costs, risks, markets and – most importantly - possibilities.

Now, multiply that by thousands of cars – we recover, reuse and recycle all those valuable materials and put them back to work as low-carbon materials for manufacturing, infrastructure, energy and transport.
