Role Background
Following the successful implementation and go-live of Workday, we're looking for an experienced Senior People Tech Specialist to join our People Tech team and help shape the next chapter of our Workday journey.
The People team at RELEX currently consists of 50+ professionals located in different countries globally, with the majority in Helsinki. As we continue to grow, we want to ensure we serve our RELEXians to the best possible level – and getting the most out of Workday is central to that.

In this role, you will help us optimize and develop our Workday platform while supporting a global organization operating across 20 countries. You will work closely with People Operations, IT, business stakeholders and external partners to ensure Workday continues to support our growth and employee experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on system work and solving broader HR technology challenges.
What you'll be doing
- Configure, optimize and continuously improve Workday functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Workday issues
- Assess the impact of changes across Workday modules, business processes and security
- Support HR process development and e.g. organizational changes or other key processes
- Create and improve reports and dashboards
- Partner with AMS providers and internal stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
- Act as a senior Workday subject matter expert and technical sparring partner within the People Tech team
- Contribute to prioritizing and driving enhancement initiatives from idea to implementation
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who combines strong Workday expertise with curiosity and a pragmatic mindset.
- Strong hands-on Workday experience
- Experience supporting and developing Workday in a mature, post-go-live environment
- Experience with Core HCM and few other key modules
- The ability to quickly understand how changes impact different modules, business processes and security
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, with full working fluency in English
- A can-do attitude combined with networking skills, assertiveness and the willingness to take initiative
