Job Description
Where you’ll fit in & what our team goals are…
You will support initiatives specific to investment performance measurement and analysis. Your role involves collecting, communicating, measuring, and analysing investment performance information to ensure accuracy and the delivery of time-sensitive performance information for clients, marketing materials, investment professionals, and all levels of management.
How you'll spend your time...
- Performance attribution reporting for Equity portfolios and other asset classes such as Multi-asset and Commodities.
- Reporting and analysis of Equity portfolio and benchmark characteristics, including the required support of client reports, Factsheets, and RFP process.
- Oversight and daily maintenance of the portfolio analytics and attribution systems and methodologies.
- Identifying efficiency gaps and improvement opportunities, driving process change through automation and programming.
- Design, development, and implementation of new analytical tools to help monitor and explain performance and characteristics of portfolios.
- Support of the global business objectives, while proactively seeking collaboration opportunities.
- Collect and update performance information such as portfolio and benchmark data.
- Reconcile and analyze returns generated by the performance system using analytical tools to identify and resolve issues.
- Produce, develop, ensure the data integrity, and distribute performance measurement and attribution reports.
- Prepare standard and ad-hoc performance and attribution reports on a daily / weekly / monthly basis that support investment management, sales, and client reporting.
- Effectively interpret, analyze, and communicate performance related questions from clients, marketing, investment professionals and management.
- Participate in project-oriented initiatives to meet the objectives of the performance analytics department either in a team or self-directed environment, such as automating report solutions or participating in departmental projects.

To be successful in this role you will have...
- Good knowledge of financial markets, investment processes, and financial instruments.
- Experience of working with large data sets using advanced data interrogation techniques and applications.
- Good knowledge and understanding of investment accounting and investment data, including accounting systems.
- Understanding financial statements, financial ratios, fixed income analytics such as durations, credit spreads, and yields.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and confidently with internal teams and external clients.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, design and articulate solutions and implement change.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently to successfully meet deadlines, as well as operating as part of a wider team and department.
- Established work experience in investment management or financial services.
- Strong numerical and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Critical thinker with strong problem solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills.

- Work experience specific to performance measurement and analytics.
- Proficient with data and report automation.
- Experience with performance systems, such as FactSet and Aladdin.
