Senior Performance Tennis Coach

Millfield School is seeking a Senior Performance Tennis Coach to join our leading tennis programme. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of high-performance players within a well-established pathway, working closely with the Head of Tennis and wider coaching team.
What You Will Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality individual and squad coaching within Millfield's performance tennis pathway
- Leading the development of identified performance players through individual development plans and competition programmes
- Supporting the strategic development of the Year 7-13 performance pathway alongside the Head of Tennis
- Providing coaching, leadership, and management to the Millfield Prep School and Millfield Senior School coaching teams, players, and parents at base and on the road
- Supporting player recruitment and progression through the LTA and ITF pathways
- Attending key competitions and contributing to the wider development of tennis at Millfield's performance sport programme

About You
You will be an experienced performance tennis coach with a passion for developing young athletes.
You Will Also Have
- LTA Level 4 Senior Performance Coach qualification (or be working towards completion)
- A proven track record of developing regional, national or international-level players
- Strong knowledge of the LTA Performance Pathway and junior performance tennis
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A willingness to support students at domestic and/or international competitions in weekends/holidays as appropriate
- A full UK driving licence
Working Hours & Salary
This is a permanent year-round position working an average of 42 hours per week, typically across Monday to Saturday but with occasional Sundays required to attend competitions and events. We offer a competitive salary.
