Role Overview
An exciting opportunity for an Alliance Manager to join a leading global healthcare organization within their Corporate & Business Development department. This key role will be based in a dynamic environment where innovative treatments and strategic partnerships are at the forefront of the company's growth and success. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and external partners to cultivate and oversee strategic alliances that support both development and commercial objectives across regions.
In this role, you will be instrumental in building, managing, and optimizing complex global partnerships that drive long-term value. You will lead negotiations, foster collaborative relationships, and ensure effective governance of alliances, contributing significantly to the company's strategic ambitions and operational excellence.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Your duties as the Alliance Manager will be varied, however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Lead the development, management, and optimization of strategic alliances to ensure delivery of expected value and alignment with business objectives.
- Provide senior leadership in alliance governance, guiding cross-functional teams and maintaining stakeholder engagement across internal and external partners.
- Interpret contractual terms and position with partners, resolving complex issues through negotiation and balancing commercial, legal, and relationship considerations.
- Lead negotiations on contractual amendments, ensuring consistency with company strategy, governance, and compliance standards.
- As the Alliance Manager, you will act as a trusted partner to Business Development initiatives, providing input on deal strategy, and supporting post-deal implementation for continuous value creation.

Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Alliance Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in alliance management or partnership leadership within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector, demonstrating strategic and operational expertise.
- Strong understanding of commercial principles, partnership governance, and collaborative operating models.
- Skilled negotiator with the ability to interpret complex contractual terms and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
