Job Description
We are looking for an experienced physiotherapist wanting new challenges, to widen their experience, to develop their leadership and teaching skills and grow their clinical ability. The successful candidate needs to be an enthusiastic therapist with strong clinical and team working skills, who has a positive and resilient outlook who is able to embrace the challenges and opportunities of working in a large acute trust.
This exciting rotational full-time post in the Therapies team at the University Hospitals of North Midlands has rotations including:
Inpatient:
- Acute Rehabilitation Trauma Unit

Neck of Femur
- Elective Orthopaedics (Royal Stoke and Stafford Sites)
- Trauma
Outpatient:
- Acute Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (Royal Stoke and Stafford Sites)
- Gymnasium
This experience will give the post holder an excellent opportunity to develop their leadership and management skills, as well as building clinical expertise that will enhance and broaden clinical skills.

Supervision will be provided by the Advanced Therapists and Principal Therapists; continuous development is supported through appraisal, internal training and external learning.
The University Hospital of North Midlands is located on 2 hospital sites and the post works within a 7 day shift system which includes weekend, late shift, bank holidays and on-call working.
