Company Description
Leeds Physiotherapy & Pilates Practice specializes in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions. The practice is staffed by highly specialist physiotherapists, all registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health Professions Council. In addition to physiotherapy services, the team runs specialist Pilates classes for people experiencing back pain. An onsite rehabilitation gym supports orthopedic clients with tailored exercise and recovery programs. The environment is collaborative, patient-focused, and committed to evidence-based care.
Role Description
The Senior Physiotherapist will provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a broad range of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions in an on-site clinical setting in Leeds. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves working closely with the wider physiotherapy team, contributing to specialist Pilates-based rehabilitation, and making use of the onsite rehabilitation gym to guide safe and effective exercise programs. Additional duties may include:
- Supervising junior clinicians
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Supporting service development and quality improvement initiatives
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Leeds.
Qualifications
- Professional registration with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health Professions Council, with substantial post-qualification experience in musculoskeletal and orthopedic physiotherapy.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, clinical reasoning, and formulation of individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Experience in exercise-based rehabilitation, including Pilates or similar modalities, and effective use of rehabilitation gym equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, educate patients, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage a varied caseload, and maintain accurate, timely clinical records.
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff or students, and contributing to service development or clinical audit is advantageous.
- Relevant degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and evidence of ongoing professional development, particularly in musculoskeletal practice.
