Job Title: Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our Pelvic Health team at Ipswich Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients with pelvic health conditions (men, women, and children), including but not limited to incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, and post-natal recovery.
As a Band 6 Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, you will work as part of a dynamic team to provide high-quality care and support for patients across East Suffolk. We are a friendly team who strive to offer patients the best care possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality, evidence-based Pelvic Health Physiotherapy service as part of the Integrated Therapies Team.
- Assess and treat adults and children presenting with pelvic floor dysfunction, bladder and bowel conditions, pelvic pain, obstetric and gynaecological conditions, and related musculoskeletal presentations.
- Work autonomously within your scope of practice, managing a specialist caseload.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement, education, clinical supervision, and multidisciplinary team working.
- Support the delivery of national priorities including the NHS Long Term Plan and Pelvic Health pathway developments.
- Provide person-centred care that promotes self-management, prevention, and improved outcomes for patients.
