A unique opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join the MDT at PAWC. The role will be based in the Prosthetic and Wheelchair centre which is one of the disablement service centres nationally commissioned by NHS England and provides prosthetic limb services on a regional level to people in Liverpool and surrounding areas. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing expert assessment and intervention in amputee rehabilitation, providing prosthetic limbs and enabling patients to walk and regain function.
Please note that this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship due to the contracted working hours
Key Responsibilities
- To provide the specialist assessment and treatment of patients with amputation in prosthetic rehabilitation setting.
- To work collaboratively within the MDT to provide a quality service that meets the needs of patients and their families.
- Provide education and support for junior staff and students.
- To deputise for the Advanced Practitioner during periods of absence.
