An exciting opportunity has risen in the Forest of Dean Community Hospital, for 12 months, fixed term to cover maternity leave. The hours are part-time, 22.5 hours per week.

Role Overview
The Band 6 Physiotherapist will be participating as a member of the Hospital Multidisciplinary Team, independently managing a specialised clinical caseload.
Responsibilities
The post holder will assess, formulate, evaluate and monitor specialised rehabilitation packages which will involve complex decision making within the Community Hospital. This role will require negotiation and coordination of a number of team members to deliver the specialised rehabilitation programmes to the patients on the ward.
The post holder is expected to have day to day operational and supervisory responsibility for more junior staff and Physiotherapy/rehabilitation assistants, providing leadership, clinical support and training as appropriate.
