Temporary Band 6 Physiotherapist Opportunity
As a result of maternity leave, a temporary exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our Trauma and Orthopaedic Team at QEQM.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work as part of a highly experienced, friendly team of a Band 7 Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, Band 6 Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists and also rotational band 5s, Band 4s and support workers. A good range of Band 5 rotations is essential. The post holder will be expected to provide regular post graduate training within their clinical specialty and work alongside Band 7s to complete some departmental managerial duties.
We can also offer development roles for the successful candidate who may require additional support.

Band 6 Physiotherapists work closely with all users of our services and their families, friends, and carers who all play an invaluable contribution in how our users experience our services. - To manage daily a clinical specialist caseload within each of these rotations and be responsible for the assessment, formulation, and treatments and to give highly specialised therapy advice to members of the MDT.
- To deputise for Team Leader on clinical and managerial issues within the team.
- To be actively involved with training within the Department.
Each clinical area has friendly supportive teams where regular meetings, CPD, and supervision are available.
