Bedford Hospital: Senior Physiotherapist Opportunity
Bedford Hospital offers a rare and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our Urgent Medicine Therapy team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work within the busy A&E department, as well as fast-paced clinical areas including the Acute Assessment Unit (AAU) and escalation areas. You will use your advanced physiotherapy assessment and treatment skills to support patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
- Support timely patient flow.
- Ensure appropriate assessment, treatment, and support for patients transitioning between hospital and community settings.

Working Conditions
The Urgent Medicine Therapy team provides physiotherapy cover across A&E over extended hours. This offers an opportunity for flexible working arrangements for the right candidate, supporting a healthy work-life balance while meeting the needs of the service.
About the Trust
Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital services to a growing population of around 700,000 people living across Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas across two busy hospital sites in Bedford and Luton.
