Role: Senior Planner (Build)
Location: London
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join the planning team of a leading Tier 1 main contractor in London.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of major construction projects, working closely with project teams and senior stakeholders within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes.
- Monitor progress against programme and key milestones.
- Identify programme risks, delays and opportunities, and support mitigation strategies.
- Provide clear programme updates and reports to project teams and stakeholders.
- Work closely with commercial, design, procurement and construction teams.
- Support project delivery, forecasting and recovery planning.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes.

About You
We are looking for a Senior Planner with
- Proven experience working for a main contractor – Tier 1 experience is highly desirable.
- Strong construction planning and programme management experience.
- A good understanding of construction methodology and project delivery.
- Experience using planning software such as P6 and/or Asta Powerproject.
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Must have worked on newbuild or refurb projects
- Knowledge of JCT, NEC, FIDIC is highly desirable.
