SENIOR PLANNER – PLYMOUTH £78,000 + Excellent Package | Major Infrastructure
I’m working with a leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner to join the team on a major, long-term infrastructure programme in Plymouth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction planner looking for a secure, high-profile project with a strong salary and benefits package.
The Role Will Involve
- Developing and maintaining detailed construction programmes
- Working closely with project, engineering and commercial teams
- Monitoring progress against programme and identifying potential delays
- Supporting programme reviews, forecasting and reporting
- Developing sequencing and construction methodology
- Identifying programme risks and opportunities
- Providing planning support throughout project delivery

What we’re looking for:
- Previous planning experience within civil engineering / major infrastructure
- Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing
- Experience using relevant planning software such as Primavera P6 / Asta
- Tier 1 / major contractor experience would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with operational teams

Salary & Package:
- Up to £78,000 basic salary + excellent benefits package
Location: Plymouth on site
Due to the nature of the project and site, the successful candidate will be required to meet the necessary security clearance and vetting requirements and will be required to work on site.
This is a particularly good opportunity for someone looking for long-term work in the South West without having to travel extensively outside the region.
