Senior Planner Major Infrastructure Project
North Wales | 3-Month Contract | Immediate Start
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery team on a major infrastructure project in Snowdonia, North Wales.
The Role
Working as part of an established project team, you will provide senior-level planning and programme support across a complex major infrastructure scheme. The project forms part of a significant programme of works designed to reduce the visual impact of existing electricity transmission infrastructure within a sensitive landscape. The scheme involves complex underground infrastructure, tunnelling and associated heavy civil engineering works, requiring close coordination across design, engineering and construction activities.

Key details:
- Initial 3-month contract
- ASAP start
- 45 hours per week
- Minimum 4 days per week on site
- Day-rate contract
- Based in Snowdonia, North Wales
- £500–£550 per day
Experience Required
- Strong Senior Planner experience within major civil engineering or infrastructure
- Proven experience developing, maintaining and updating construction programmes
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project controls
- Experience working closely with engineering and operational delivery teams
- Previous Tier 1 contractor experience highly desirable
- Experience across heavy civils, tunnelling, utilities or energy infrastructure would be advantageous
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
