About the Role

You will be working in the Building Services OU where we bring Skanska’s purpose to build for a better society to life- creating healthy workplaces, comfortable homes and efficient facilities that improve people’s lives. Through collaboration and innovation, we deliver high-quality solutions that make a lasting, positive impact for people and communities.

We are currently looking for a Senior Planner (Data Centres), based in Watford, Hertfordshire who will work on a live Construction project leading the planning requirements and chairing collaborative planning meetings.

As The Senior Planner (Data Centres), You Will

  • Contribute to the overall planning process, maintaining a proactive and professional service to the planning, bid and project teams working to the guidelines of the planning and programming strategic plan.
  • Contribute towards the management of the bid and project planning / programming strategic plan.
  • Assist the management team in preparation of method statements to meet the needs of the project.
  • Manage and maintain MEP project programmes, including integrated design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover, and key trade package schedules.
  • Schedule validation, risk identification and management, including the effective management of EWNs and EOTs.

We Are Looking For

  • MEP Planning experience on major projects and different forms of construction and types of NEC Contracts.
  • Experience of data centre market and working on Bids and Tenders.
  • Good working knowledge of Planning Software (Asta PowerProject / Primavera).
  • HNC/Degree qualification in a construction related subject or trade qualifications.
  • An appreciation of 4D planning software tools including Synchro.
