Title: Senior Planner (fit out)
Location: Centra London (hybrid)
Salary: £80-110,000 + package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planner to join a leading main contractor based in London, with an impressive track record of delivering high-quality CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects across the capital.
You'll join an established and highly experienced team at an exciting time for the business, with a strong pipeline of projects across London. The role will provide excellent variety, with involvement across both the tender and contract stages, giving you the opportunity to influence projects from the early bid phase through to successful delivery. Projects will typically range in value from £5m to £30m, providing exposure to a diverse portfolio of complex and fast-paced commercial fit-out schemes.
Working closely with the pre-construction, commercial and delivery teams, you'll take ownership of developing and managing robust programmes, supporting tender submissions and subsequently driving programme performance once projects move into delivery. You'll play an important role in developing construction methodologies, sequencing works, identifying programme risks and opportunities, and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
We're looking for a Senior Planner with strong CAT A and CAT B office fit-out experience, gained within a UK main contracting environment. You'll be proficient in Asta Powerproject and have a strong understanding of construction sequencing and programme management. The ability to communicate effectively with project teams, clients and senior stakeholders is essential, as is a proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of your programmes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
