Location: Aldermaston – Full-time onsite

Contract: 18 months

Rate: £68.12 per hour Umbrella

IR35: In Scope

Working Pattern: Full-time, with potential 4-day condensed week

Interview: Microsoft Teams

Clearance: Active DV preferred; active SC considered with willingness to undergo DV

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support complex engineering and programme activities at AWE.

You will be responsible for maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), providing planning and project controls expertise, undertaking critical path and network analysis, and supporting Earned Value Management (EVM) and forecasting.

Key Requirements

  • Strong senior planning/project controls experience.
  • Excellent Primavera P6 experience.
  • Strong IMS, schedule management, and critical path knowledge.
  • Proven EVM and SPI analysis experience.
  • Experience within complex engineering, corporate, or highly regulated environments.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to take ownership and drive effective planning practices.
  • Nuclear, defence, aerospace, or rail experience advantageous.
