Permanent Senior Planner
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Senior Planner to join our dynamic Specialist Bridges Inspection & Maintenance (SBIM) team based in Aust, Bristol.
In this role, you will serve as the primary coordinator for project planning across multidisciplinary maintenance and infrastructure projects. You will provide expert planning guidance, support project delivery teams and play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client requirements across some of the UK's most iconic bridge structures.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage all relevant project programmes.
- Track progress, incorporate changes and forecast delivery dates and expenditure.
- Lead planning meetings with the Client and key stakeholders.
- Prepare periodic reports, statistics and programme updates.
- Provide advice, guidance and planning expertise to operational and project teams.
- Identify critical path activities, risks and opportunities within programmes.
- Support resource planning and project controls activities.
- Ensure high standards of programming are maintained to meet contract requirements.
- Develop and improve working practices and seek innovative solutions.
- Support the development of business improvement monitoring and reporting processes.

What You'll Bring
- Experience in a Senior Planner or Planning role within highways, infrastructure, civil engineering or construction.
- Strong project management and programme controls knowledge.
- Experience using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Experience of highways maintenance operations would be advantageous.
