Senior Planner – Main Contractor | Bedfordshire

Based from Milton Keynes Office for Pre-Construction | Site-Based During Delivery

I am currently assisting a leading main contractor to recruit a Senior Planner for a major, confidential development in Bedfordshire. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK's most respected contractors at the very start of a landmark project, giving you the chance to influence the programme from pre-construction through to project completion.

Initially, the role will be based from the contractor's Milton Keynes office, working closely with the pre-construction, design and delivery teams before transitioning onto site as the project progresses.

The Opportunity

As Senior Planner, you'll take ownership of developing, managing and coordinating the project programme throughout the full lifecycle of the scheme. Working alongside operational, commercial and design teams, you'll ensure programmes are robust, achievable and aligned with project objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
