We are currently seeking an experienced Senior or Lead Planner to join our dynamic award-winning team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality integrated planning across major infrastructure programmes, with a particular focus on aligning schedule, cost, risk and commercial inputs into a single, cohesive view of programme performance.
This role sits directly within Cooper Moss Rutland, supporting client delivery through best-in-class planning expertise. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and assuring integrated schedules, ensuring alignment across multiple disciplines and providing clear insight to support decision making.
As a Senior/Lead Planner, you will operate across both strategic and delivery levels, working closely with project teams, stakeholders and leadership to ensure that plans are robust, realistic and aligned to programme objectives.
This role requires a strong background in integrated planning, with experience within energy, power or similar complex infrastructure environments highly advantageous.

🔹 You'll
- Develop, manage and maintain integrated project schedules across the programme
- Ensure alignment between schedule, cost, risk and commercial inputs to create a cohesive programme view
- Support the development of baseline schedules, including logic, sequencing and dependencies
- Monitor programme performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
- Provide clear reporting and insight to stakeholders and leadership teams
- Work closely with project teams to ensure plans are realistic, achievable and aligned to delivery objectives
- Support planning governance, controls and best practice across the programme
- Engage with stakeholders across multiple disciplines to ensure consistency and alignment in planning approach
Essential
🔹 We’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Planner within complex infrastructure or major project environments
- Strong expertise in integrated planning, bringing together schedule, cost, risk and commercial data into a single programme view
- Demonstrable experience developing, managing and assuring complex project schedules using industry standard planning tools
- Experience within energy, power or similarly regulated infrastructure sectors
- Strong understanding of planning best practice, governance and controls within a Project Controls environment
- Ability to analyse programme performance and provide clear insight to stakeholders and leadership teams
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment between delivery teams and programme objectives
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge where required
